I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson

How can I describe this show? Even after discussing it with Michael, I’m not totally sure. But I do know we spent most of the discussion laughing, so maybe that’s all you need to know.

I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson is an absurdist sketch comedy show that will have you asking “What??,” but may also be making an insightful commentary on the human experience and how we’re all really just trying our best. Or it might just be a ridiculous show with no filter. In either case, I think you’ll find at least one sketch to make you laugh, I guarantee it (not really though, I don’t know your sense of humor).

Obi Wan Kenobi

This series doesn’t need any introduction given the cultural stature of the Star Wars franchise. And maybe that explains why this series got made in the first place.

In this deep dive I talk with double cousin Michael and Dr. Laurie to debate whether or not we found this series satisfying and why we’ve watched (and rewatched) it regardless.

If you like Star Wars, then you’ve probably already watched this so go ahead and listen to us debate our feelings on it, otherwise, sPoiLer aLeRt.

Years and Years

Not gonna lie. Times are fucking bleak right now. Fucking. bleak.

With everything going on in the world, it can be extremely disorienting to piece together how we got here and where we might be going. Sometimes it helps to just not think about it, but sometimes it helps for someone else to tell you the story in a compelling, well produced, and fantastically acted mini series. That’s exactly what Years and Years is.

Released in 2019, watching it now it feels especially prescient given how accurately they predicted the past few years playing out. So if you want to see how our reality might go, and how we might be able to save us from ourselves, have a watch and then have a listen to me and Laurie discuss! Streaming on HBO Max
