Some people say watching too much TV will rot your brain...

Fuck those haters

About EMDB TV

TV has always been an integral part of my life, like a third parent, a teacher, a confidant, and a friend to laugh and cry with.  From TGIF and Saturday morning cartoons to Netflix and, well, I guess more cartoons just like me, TV has gotten even better with age.

I've always watched more television than anyone else I knew (I estimated an average of 8hrs a day; weekend binge watching offsetting "lighter" weeknights) and so much of my personality and perspective is influenced by the shows I've watched.

I've watched shows on 4" screens before smartphones and tablets existed, streamed entire series in constantly buffering 2 minute increments while studying abroad, hell I even made a fake TV out of a cardboard box and some figurines when I was in college and didn't have a TV in my room for the first time in my life.

As a result of my TV addiction, I have a pretty good recall of most actors, their bodies of work, and general TV quotes and references. EMDB TV is a project that serves as a love letter to my friend and an ongoing distraction from my day job. Thanks for reading (and listening) and keep watching TV, kids.
